St Catherine's is located in the leafy surroundings of Balwyn with wonderful views over the Minifie Reserve. It combines the charm of a beautiful homestead built in 1904 with up-to-date aged care amenities.

A high standard of personalised care provided by a team of caring and professional staff ensures residents' physical, social, cultural and spiritual needs and choices are catered for. This includes 24 hour nurse coverage as well as services that may be required from a range of allied health service professionals. Residents are encouraged to use their own GP; we also have an extensive list of GPs in the area who will provide services to residents at St Catherine's.

A happy and friendly atmosphere is evident from the frequent laughter and active involvement in the lifestyle program based on the interests of residents and enriched by the contributions of friendly and loyal volunteers. These include music recitals, fitness groups, large screen cinema shows, mind games, coffee shop, art and craft, knitting group, exercises and regular excursions. An intimate chapel is used for regular services and quiet reflection and is available at all times.

We cater for a variety of tastes with our balanced and freshly prepared menu options, including special dietary requirements. Family and friends are welcome to stay for meals at a small charge.

Single rooms with ensuite, as well as shared rooms are available.
