St Bernadette's is a vibrant and caring community enriched by the cultural diversity of residents and staff. Dedicated and professional staff provides care tailored to each resident's physical, social, cultural, spiritual and other special needs and choices. Residents benefit from ongoing links with local community groups, an active lifestyle program and the regular contributions of volunteers.

Residents enjoy comfort, security and peace of mind in a relaxing and homely environment with pleasant outlooks to well-maintained gardens and an enclosed courtyard with gazebo and rose gardens. All rooms are single with an ensuite bathroom. Season menu selections prepared by an on-site chef cater for a variety of tastes, choices and special dietary requirements.

A stimulating program of activities based on the interests of residents is coordinated by qualified staff and enriched by the contributions of volunteers and community groups. Activities include: music and dance recitals, exercise program, cultural events, regular excursions, crafts, games and special celebrations.

Developments underway to provide specialised care for 15 residents with dementia, a chapel and additional communal amenities will be completed in 2009.
