Leave a Bequest

Making a gift to Catholic Homes in your Will is a wonderful caring legacy that enables us to enrich the lives of others. We will honour your wishes and use the capital, or income from that capital, in accordance with your express wishes.

Sample wording for making a bequest in your will is outlined below, but we recommend that you seek the advice of a solicitor so that your intentions are understood and the bequest is clearly and legally stated.

Sample wording:

I GIVE the sum of $.........., or ......% of the residue of my estate (free of all duties and charges) to Catholic Homes for the Elderly Inc.(Catholic Homes) to be applied for the general purposes [or describe a specific service, facility or purpose] of Catholic Homes.

I DECLARE that the receipt of an authorised officer of Catholic Homes shall be full and sufficient discharge to my trustee(s) for payment of my gift.
